Despite entering their first-ever European adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting at a rapid pace. Without key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable result that all but guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure straight entry to the knockout stages, especially after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for some of Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in match.

The match was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past a series of comically weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
